A sinister witch brings about a devastating drought in the Kingdom of Airlangar with the intention of seizing the throne for herself In a desperate bid to stop her King Daha enlists the assistance of Master Warrior Baraba whose son is set to marry the witch's daughter Their mission is to steal a powerful book that could defeat the witch and save the kingdom from her clutches 2002 Indonesian Animated Fantasy Film In the Kingdom of Airlangar a severe drought has been caused by Calon a black magic witch who seeks to take over the throne with the help of a cult of strange creatures King Daha orders his guards to capture the witch alive but their campaign is unsuccessful They are tricked by the witch's collaborators and some of the guards are turned into monsters Master Warrior Baraba is invited to Airlangar by the king and when he arrives he finds a wasteland of people dying of thirst Baraba states that the curse is due to the witch's daughter Ratna being unmarried and he volunteers his son Bahwula to marry her They fall in love and get married However the marriage does not change the witch's plans and they are forced to flee taking the magical book of Lontar from the witch's belongings Unfortunately the book gets shattered during their escape but the Master and the newlyweds are still determined to stop the witch They realize that the key to defeating her lies in the power of water and a couple of secret magic weapons With this knowledge they set out to stop Calon and her cult from taking over the Kingdom of Airlangar and restore peace to the land Director Pang Warman Hariyanto
