TRANSCRIPT Hi everyone welcome to another video with Maria Wendt and today I'm going to tell you guys how to figure out who you should be working with how to get clear on your ideal client If you aren't already subscribed to my YouTube channel just go ahead and hover over my profile image You're going to see a red subscribe button show up and basically that's how you're not going to miss any of my marketing hack videos all my secrets to making more money online all my strategies to get more clients lots of good stuff So go ahead and subscribe so you don't miss any of it Today we're going to go ahead and get into the three different ways you can get clear on who your ideal client is because it's so important to get clear in your ideal client and I talk about it all the time I want to give you my sort of three steps to doing that The first thing that you need to ask yourself when you're trying to figure out who you should be working with is who do you want to work with right Just start with that It's a simple question but have you ever really sat down and thought about who you wanted to work with Who lights you up Who gets you excited You're excited to have calls with them You're excited to help them You're excited to work with them Who are the people that get you excited Too often as new entrepreneurs we can work with anyone that comes our way but you really need to do is you really need to sit down and say who do I want to work with and that's going to help you attract your ideal client because you're going to have some clarity around that The second thing that you need to ask is who do I feel confident that I can really help Your online reputation is so important and so many coaches or consultants or whoever might be they burn themselves out and they burn themselves in the industry because they can't actually deliver results They're not getting good reviews They're not getting referrals They can't actually deliver what they say they're going to deliver and it hurts their reputation So the second thing you need to do is you need to be really confident that whoever it is you want to work with you can actually help them and you can get them results The third thing that you need to ask yourself is are they a good fit for both your income goals and your business goals in the future Not just now but also in the future Basically can they afford to work with you because if you want to work with new entrepreneurs but you're also charging 20 000 to work with them it's going to be hard to find clients that can afford you but if you want to work with new entrepreneurs and you set up some kind of monthly plan or you want to work with really established entrepreneurs then the 20k packages might be a better fit But you've got to make sure that your monetary goals for your business are aligned with the kind of people that you want to work with I see a lot of disconnect with a lot of my clients before we work together where they're like you know I want to make 500k per year but they're trying to make that with new entrepreneurs doing one-on-one coaching packages and they're struggling So it's important to take a look at that and make sure that the people you want to work with match up to the amount of money you want to be making or to the way that you want to make money So guys hopefully that was helpful If you have any questions about this drop them in the comments below Also if you want more free advice on how to get more clients how to make more money how to grow your business you could find all of that here on my website MariaWendt com I share lots of good stuff there all my secrets so go check that out and I'll see you in the next video
