I am a TIGER and I am a MOTHER, but I never pushed my child this way. I DID however; keep my daughter from hanging out at parties, doing drugs, and generally raised her as a MORMON for the first years of her life. She became Young Women's President, ended up getting 3 Master Degrees, Married for 6 years, and is dabbling in politics, and was a City Commissioner. Do I regret being so close with my daughter? No. I even followed her to college and still live in the same city with her. I gave her much more freedom although my daughter DOES help me now... although I strive to reverse this so I give to her instead of expecting anything from her. I always have wanted to give to her, and getting help from my daughter feels foreign in nature. I much prefer to give to my child instead.
